This 3D eBook was an early example of interactive storytelling within the browser. Predates Apple iBooks by 10 years.

As part of the one week sales demo sprints we were doing at Wild Tangent to help the Business Development folks, I took my sister Sharon’s artwork and story for an unpublished children’s book called “The Crafties” and created one of the first 3D eBooks within the web browser to illustrate the concept for Amazon. It was a stunning demo and one that predates anything like this by many many years. I don’t think you can even find an example of this exact concept today except for the “page flip” within eBook readers.
